I'm spending my semester "abroad" at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT attending the Williams-Mystic program through Williams College. It's an interdisciplinary maritime semester, during which I will study marine ecology, marine policy, literature of the sea and history of the sea.

Life Ashore
Well, I have returned from sea. It's fairly bizarre to be back on terra firma once again. And when I say fairly bizarre, picture me swaying back and forth when I'm standing in place because I'm used to the rocking of the boat. All I can say is wow. That was an amazing experience. I will go into details later this weekend as I don't have the energy right now, nor the mental capacity to be coherent, but there will be details! And pictures! It'll be a good time. I don't think I've ever learned more in a ten day period in my entire life. What a trip. Anyhoo, more later on this. For now, I am on dry land once more and am no longer in a sailboat outrunning Hurricane Earl.
